Who produces HIV/AIDS UPDATE

This South African HIV/AIDS Information and Service project was initiated by freelance project co-ordinator, Michele Trope.
Michele was the originator and first editor of HIV/AIDS UPDATE, a bimonthly newsletter distributed to doctors in the Western Cape, South Africa. She has also worked as a features and copy co-ordinator for a weekly South African magazine, as a freelance magazine and newspaper writer and as a writer for three food publications in the trade industry.
In the field of electronic media, Michele has worked as an on-line sub-editor for the arts and entertainment section for the Electronic Mail & Guardian.
The web site was created by Pieter van der Lugt, a Cape Town journalist who enjoys fiddling with code in his free time.
